Q: What brought you to the former Soviet Union Republic, Georgia?
A: In 2013, I came here in search of investments that most Americans won’t touch because of instability and lack of transparency. I found and invested in bargains in this developing nation. Here I found a slower pace of life, and a local new wife. I have been here ever since.

Q: What’s the situation there now?
A: Georgia’s government is now officially aligned with Russia. Western ties have been formally severed, for the most part. However, it’s a safe place to live, affordable for me, and traditions that are based around food, family, friends, and faith.

Q: Will you turn to live in the USA with your new family?
A: Not without a compelling reason like war, business needs, or family needs. I find some foreign countries to offer extraordinary simplicity, old world charm. It’s easier to be distinguished; a bigger fish in a smaller pond, in some situations.
